Being toured entirely by bicycle\, Troubling Joy: A Bicycle Puppet Circus will be visiting rural and urban communities across seven counties. This original performance will be performed outside for free at the Dartmouth Commons on September 5th and at the Halifax South Common on September 6th. \nTroubling Joy: A Bicycle Puppet Circus features a cast of puppets who\, in recognizing their discontent with the social structures that dictate how they live\, discover the pleasure of change. Playing within the traditional circus format\, the North Barn Theatre Collective uses puppetry\, moving image\, and song to investigate the promise of happiness\, its illusions and our collective capacity to imagine new futures.
