An accessible, concrete trail circles the building and offers good views of the park, Bedford Basin and museum grounds.
There is a moderately flat grassy area between the museum’s concrete path and the park’s crusher dust paths. There is no designated concrete or crusher dust path leading from the museum to the park. The park’s crusher dust trails start at the parking lot at 5399 Africville Road, by the playground. Although the parking lot is rough gravel, the paths are crusher dust.
